Kaplast started operating in 1971 as a small shop with several injection moulding machines.
Over the years the Company enjoyed steady growth and an increase in local and regional presence and became recognized as an industry niche leader in South Eastern Europe.
In 2003 company was marked by a prestigious award for the fastest growing mid-size business in Croatia,
in 2007 by the Croatian manager of the year award for CEO Mr. Želimir Feitl.
Large investments into Research and Development and new technologies enabled Kaplast to become the first crate producer in the region to use overmoulding with soft touch material and IML
In 2009, another packaging design award was received due to complex double (2K) injection ice cream IML packaging.
in 2010, the Company received an Cropak recognition for ECO production for its continuous contribution to environmental protection. The company operates under a highly sophisticated and automated production certified with the ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 22000 standards.
