Delivery rooms
The delivery rooms of the Podobnik Maternity hospital have state of the art equipment. They are equipped with modern delivery tables that are adjustable to any position, which can help you to feel more comfortable and facilitate your labor and delivery process. During the labor and delivery you will be assisted and monitored by a specialist gynecologist, graduated midwife, pediatrician and anesthesiologist.
Water birthing
The Podobnik Maternity Hospital is equipped with a special water birth tub. It is the only place in Zagreb where you are offered the opportunity to give birth in water.
Pain free birth options
If you want to have a pain free childbirth , you can always opt for the epidural analgesia that minimizes your childbearing pains. The epidurals are given by a specialist anesthesiologist.
Cesarean section
In case a delivery should be finalized by a Cesarean section, the Podobnik Maternity Hospital is equipped with a modern operating room and an intensive care unit. The assisted delivery with Cesarean section is possible under spinal or general anesthesia.
Accommodation for nursing mothers
After you have given birth, the Podobnik Maternity Hospital offers you accommodation in single bed suites where nursing mothers may have their newborns with them. All suites are comfortable and equipped with modern amenities (air conditioning, LCD TV, DVD player, phone, Internet access, fridge) and there is also an extra bed for your partner who can accompany you throughout your stay in the maternity hospital.
