  • Kostel Promet d.o.o. was estabilshed in 2001 and is engaged in sewing seating systems for vehicle interiors, especially for the needs of the automotive industry. It started the business by producting headrests in cooperation with its business partner Johnson Controls NTU of Slovenj Gradec, Slovenia. The first sewing services the company provided were for the Renault Clio range. The quality and compliance with deadlines soon multiplied the business.
Today, Kostel Promet ltd. works on ranges for major car brands such as Volkswagen, Nissan, Mercedes Benz, Skoda, Kia, Renault, Opel, Ford, Toyota, Volvo and Land Rover with daily production between 10000 and 12000 units.

We currently produce seating system components for vehicles:

    • headrests
    • armrests
    • bolsters
    • other textile and leather components incorporated in vehicles

Kostel Promet is located on an area of 5 500 m². Production accounts for 2 600 m² and storage covers 500 m². All equipment is owned by the company except the equipment used for packaging and transport preparation. Our two trucks provide daily delivery services to the business partners. Today, Kostel Promet is a 100% EU Export Company with 370 employees and the capacity of additional employment. In order to comply with the delivery dates and to simplify the operations, the company has in-house customs clearance, thus eliminating the time of waiting for customs clearance at border crossings. As exporters, we have always operated in a manner fully compliant with the norms, standards and terms common in international trade.

Warehousing is governed by the FIFO system. Properly timed signalization constantly provides accurate insight into the state of the warehouse, so if any unit is missing, this is communicated quickly and efficiently. That automatically ensures timely ordering of sufficient quantities of necessary materials and prevents delays in production.

Delivery of goods is defined by and in compliance with the official rules of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC, Incoterms).

The packaging is in compliance with the client's requests in order to deliver an undamaged and representative product.
