Established in 1991 DOK-ING Ltd is a privately owned company for the production of special machines, and one of the most renowned demining machines manufacturers in the world.
MV Series Demining Machines are designed and manufactured for the clearance of various areas infested with mines and UXOs. Due to its small dimensions and maneuverability, a MV-4 machine is suitable for clearing areas around houses, woods, tracks, river banks and terrains.
More than 150 MV-4s have been used to clean mine infested areas in more than 20 world countries. Besides Croatia and neighbouringSerbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina these demining machines are in operation in Libya, Lebanon, Iraq, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Sri Lanka, Columbia, Nicaragua, USA, Ireland, Greece, Italy, Sweden, Sudan, Angola and DRC.MV-10, medium double tool mine clearing system, is intended for the clearance of anti-personnel and anti-tank mines on diverse, life-threatening terrains.
An underground mining machine has been developed at the Anglo Platinum American Corporation request, and is being used in the South African platinum mines.The machine is unique due to its dimensions (83 cm in height) and the remote control technology enablingmining operations in extremely low and inaccessible mine shafts. Development of a new electrical machine, 65 cm in height, is currently ongoing.
MVF-5 is the third production programme of the DOK-INGCompany. This is a unique remote controlled fire fighting machineintended for tackling fire on dangerous and inaccessible grounds, such as chemical and oil facilities, nuclear and pharmaceutical plants, munitions and flammable products storages, i.e. every place where there is a threat of an explosion orevaporation of dangerous substances that could endanger human lives and the environment. In such situations, traditional fire fighting engines have a limited access putting fire fighters inside the vehicle in considerable danger.
The technologies developed in the production of remote controlling, diesel, hybrid and electrical engine drives of the demining systems and underground mining machines have proven to be the key to finding correct components for the electrical vehicle.
Creating the electrical vehicle XD concept, DOK-ING has applied its rich experiences as the global leaderin the field of special machines production.
XD is an electrical vehicle concept involving three adult seats and a powerful electrical engine. Driver’s safety and the high technology utilisation, not used in the car industry so far, have been theemphasis of the project development.
XD combines the most striking automobile characteristic, and attracts attention due to its modern design.A rather smallsize (2, 8 m), a comfortable interior (1. 7 m wide and 1, 6 m in height)and compact sports car performance (0-100 km / h in 7, 7 seconds) is sure to attract the investors and car enthusiasts’ interest alike.The zero CO2 emissions are not to be forgotten either.
Therefore, not only that the renewable energy sources are utilised during the car production, but the car itself is driven by electricitytransformed from the solar energy.
