Rural Tourism on island Korčula
GIČA is a centuries-old olive grove located in heartland of the island of Korcula, on the south side of the island near the town of Blato.
Korcula Island is full of old olive trees, in GIČA olive grove some of them are older than 200 years.
Olive oil made by traditional methods of dry olive press is an integral part of our gastronomy. Oil quality is Extra Virginia and use it to prepare authentic dishes.
Agro household Giča is located at the same olive grove location. In 1998, our family starts with the first works on the renovation of three old stone houses, which were completely renovated in the mode of the old masters of stone and are a typical example of dalamtian field house, which was formerly used for the rest of farmers who have worked in surrounding areas, olive groves, vineyards ...
All ingredients we use are from local origin, produced by members of our family.
The wine produced from our vineyards located in the area of Blato, white wines; Brakovina, Chardoney, Rukatac and Cetinka and red wines; Plavac and Postup.
The easiest way to reach us is by ferry from Split to Vela Luka and 7 km by the Road to Blato, in the direction of the bay Grscica, Prizba.
