Dvokut Ecro ltd. is a service provider in the area of environmental protection, sustainable development, planning, research, designing and project management. Founded in 1991, under the name of Dvokut ECRO ltd. the company has been active since 1995, providing advisory services concerning environmental protection for private investors, public utilities and government bodies.
The competence of its own human resources and its good references have rendered Dvokut Ecro the first Croatian company that met all the required professional and technical standards and was granted in 1997 a license to conduct analyses and prepare expert reports on environmental protection and various impacts on the environment by the Croatian Environment Agency. Owing to its cutting-edge technology for air-quality control – a mobile ecological laboratory – Dvokut ECRO also obtained in that same year a license to conduct air-quality and air-emission control as well as monitoring environmental conditions.
Today Dvokut Ecro is a respectable and experienced company which spreads its business by investing in a young team of highly trained experts and most advanced research technology, offering a full range of new environmental services to private business clients and the public sector.
Dvokut Ecro provides advisory services to its clients, conducts air-quality measurements, sets up air quality monitoring stations, draws up legal documents, conducts reviews and analyses of environmental impacts and develops waste management and environmental protection plans. Dvokut Ecro’s services also include techno-economic studies, feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses and due-diligence reports. The company’s experts are fully qualified and authorized to draw up preliminary designs, master and construction plans. For the purposes of developing project documentation for landfill reconstruction, the company conducts exploratory drillings and water, soil and waste analyses as well toxic waste gas studies. An oceanographic research boat, equipped with the most sophisticated instruments for the study of ocean currents, batimetry and the identification of ocean bed types enables Dvokut ECRO to offer a wide range of oceanographic research services. Drawing on the experience and knowledge of our expert divers with a scientific background, we are able to carry out extensive research in the field of marine biology. A Training Center for Environmental Protection was established in the company’s headquarters, where specialized training course are held for private companies, public utilities and local authorities.
Numerous international consulting agencies have recognized in Dvokut ECRO a reliable local partner for joint projects in Croatia, which are partly financed from EU-funds. Dvokut ECRO cooperates with consulting agencies from the Netherlands, Spain, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denmark, Austria, Great Britain and Norway (International projects).
Dvokut ECRO is one of the founders of the Croatian Business Council for Sustainable Development and the Croatian Association of Professionals in Nature and Environment Protection.
In 2006 Dvokut ECRO implemented the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certificated systems of quality and eco-management with the aim of modernizing its business processes, increasing efficacy and raising the quality of its services. Service quality assurance and environmental protection measures are compliant with the Quality and Eco-Management Policy.
